1. Remove the battery door by slightly pressing the knob upwards.
2. Insert 3 AA size batteries according to the polarity information

marked on the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery door.
4. Once the batteries are inserted, the normal segments of the

LCD will be shown.

Note: If there is no display on the LCD after inserting the batteries,

try to replace with 3 new batteries or press the «RESET» key
by using a metal wire.

FUNCTION KEYS

Press it once to turn on the backlight for 5
seconds; press itto stop the alarm when it is-
sounding.
Slide it to turn on/off the alarm and snooze.
In normal time mode or alarm time mode, press it to
switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
In setting mode, press it to increase the setting
values.
Press and hold it for 2 secondsto enter the nor-
mal time setting mode.
Press it to switch between Date/Month and Year
display.
In setting mode, press it to decrease the setting val-
ues; in normal time mode, press it toswitch 12/24 hour
format.
Press it to switch between Date/Month and
alarm time mode; press and hold it for 2 seconds
to enter the alarm time setting mode.
Press it to set all values to default values; in case
of mal-function, the unit may be required to restart.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (DST)

The clock has been programmed automatically to switch when

the daylight savings time is in effect. Your clock will show «DST»
during the summer.

TIME AND CALENDAR SETTING

1. In normal time mode, press and hold the «TIME» key for 2 sec-

onds until the HOUR digit fl ashes.

2. Press the «UP» or «DOWN» key to change the value of the

fl ashing HOUR digit.

3. Repeat the above operation to set the time and calendar in this

order: Hour > Minute > Second >Year > Month > Date > Day
language.

4. After you complete all settings, press the «TIME» key to exit the

setting mode, or let it exit automatically in 30 seconds without
pressing any key.

Note:

1. In normal time mode, press the «DOWN» key to switch be-

tween 12/24 Hr format.

2. The clock supports 5 Day languages: GB=English

ALARM AND SNOOZE SETTING

1. In normal time mode, slide the «ALARM ON/OFF» switch to the

ON position to turn on the Alarm and Snooze with the bell icon
« » and snooze icon «

» displayed together on the LCD.

2. In normal time mode, press and hold the «ALARMSET» key for

2 seconds to enter the alarm time setting mode until the alarm
HOUR digit fl ashes.

3. Press the «UP» or «DOWN» key to change the value of the

fl ashing HOUR digit.

4. Repeat the above operation to set the alarm Minute.
5. After you complete all settings, press the «ALARMSET» key

to exit the setting mode, or let it exit automatically 30 seconds
later without pressing any key.

Note:

1. When the alarm is sounding, the backlight will be on for 5 seconds.
2. Once the Snooze is turned on, the 4-step crescendo alarm will sound

4 times in 5-minute interval. The alarm duration is 60 seconds.

3. Press the «SNOOZE / LIGHT» key to stop the current alarm and

enter the Snooze mode; while sliding the «ALARM ON/OFF» switch
to the OFF position can turn off the Alarm and Snooze function.

THE «SECOND» AND «DAY OF THE WEEK»

DISPLAY

The displays of Day of the week and Second switch automatically

and alternatively every 30 seconds (from day of theweek to second time)
and every 90 seconds (from second time to day of the week). The Day

of week display can last for 30 seconds and the Second display can last
for 90 seconds. It is defaulted that Day of the week will bedisplayed fi rst
every time immediately after the clock ispowered on or reset.

WEATHER INDICATOR

The built-in barometer can notice atmospheric pressure chang-

es. Based on the data collected, it can predict the weather conditions
in the forthcoming 12-24 hours.

Note:

1. The accuracy of a general pressure-based weather forecast is

about 70% to 75%.

2. The weather forecast is meant for next 12 to 24 hours. It may

not necessarily refl ect the current situation.

3. The «Sunny» icon can only appear from 6 AM to 8 PM; while

if the weather is Cloudy/Rainy/Stormy during this period, the
«Sunny» icon may not appear.

4. The «Moon phase & Star» icon can only appear from 8 PM

to 6 AM; while if the weather is Cloudy/Rainy/Stormy during
this period, it may not appear either.

5. The «Rainy» and «Stormy» icons are different only in the drop-

ping frequency of the rain. The raindropping frequency in the
«Stormy» icon is faster than that in the «Rainy» icon.

MOON PHASE INDICATOR:

The unit has 8 different moon phases. It will change according

to the lunar calendar.

USING THE TABLE STAND

OR WALL-MOUNTING STAND

The clock has both desktop and wall-mounting structures.You

can hang it on the wall by its recessed hole or place iton the desktop
by its table stand. You can use the tablestand according to the fol-
lowing steps:
1. Slide the table stand downwards to separate it from the knob.
2. Revolve the separated table stand outwards for 90 degrees.
3. To

fi x the table stand, push it into the knob inside.

4. When you want to fi x the clock on the wall, you can do the op-

posite operation to put back the table stand.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

When the LCD becomes dim, replace with 3 new AA size bat-

teries at once according to the polarity information marked on the
battery compartment.

Note:
Attention! Please dispose of used unit or batteries in an

ecologically safe manner.
