The Alarm
To stop the alarm
Press [■ ALARM STOP],
The alarm is stopped but the setting remains intact so the
alarm will operate as set the next day as well.
To turn the alarm off
Press [ALARM 1/2] when the unit is on to clear the alarm
indicators from the display.
To check the settings when the unit is off
Press [CLOCK/ALARM ADJj.
The settings are shown in the following order:
CD/Radio alarm : Alarm time ^ Source ^ Volume
^ Clock
Buzzer : Alarm time ^ Clock
Both alarms : (CD/Radio alarm) Alarm time ^ Source
Volume ^(Buzzer) Alarm time
^ Clock
To snooze a few more minutes even after the
alarm has sounded
Press [TAPE/OFF DOZE].
The alarm sounds again 6 minutes later.
CD/Radio alarm and buzzer will sound if the setting of the
two alarms are set at the same time.
Q The Sleep Timer
Remote control only
Set the unit to stop and turn off after a certain time.
While listening to a CD or the radio
Press [SLEEP] to select the time (in minutes).
Each time you press the button:
30 ^ 60 ^ 90 ^ 120 n
OFF
To cancel
Press [SLEEP] to select “OFF”.
To check the remaining time
Press [SLEEP] once.
The remaining time is shown for about 5 seconds.
To change the time remaining during operation
Press [SLEEP] to show the remaining time then press
[SLEEP] to select the desired time.
For your reference:
The alarm can be used in combination with the sleep timer.
